Lisa Burkhart, PhD, RN, ANEF
Dr. Burkhart's research focus is preventive care in the community using technologies. She is currently PI on an HSR-funded study, entitled “Implementing a Decision Support Tool to Prevent Community-Acquired Pressure Injury in Spinal Cord Injury in the Spinal Cord Injury Clinic,” to implement a decision support tool (called the CAPP-FIT) that identifies risk factors, resources needed, and actions to prevent community-acquired pressure injuries for use in the spinal cord injury clinic. She is also PI on an OCC-funded study to evaluate and compare patient generated health data platforms using wearable technology in community-dwelling Veterans with spinal cord injury.
