Neil Jordan, PhD
Dr. Jordan is a health economist and health services researcher at CINCCH. In addition, he is director of the Mental Health Services & Policy Program and a Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Preventive Medicine, and Medical Social Sciences at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Jordan also directs the Center for Education in Health Sciences and Health Economics Program within the Institute for Public Health and Medicine at Northwestern.
His work spans several areas, including quality and cost of care for persons with chronic illnesses, financing and outcomes of mental health and child welfare services, and economic evaluation. Dr. Jordan co-leads the Methods Core for the Evidence to Policy Evaluation Center for Veterans (EPEC-Vet), a QUERI-funded evaluation center housed within CINCCH. He serves as a scientific advisor to the VA Information Resource Center (VIReC). Dr. Jordan also leads internal grant review for CINCCH.
Dr. Jordan came to CINCCH in 2004 from the Florida Mental Health Institute and Department of Health Policy & Management at the University of South Florida. He earned his doctorate in health services research from the University of Minnesota in 2002. He has a B.S. in economics and an M.S. in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
